  the watchtower's position on logic and truth is basically that there are two logics (god's and man's) and two truths (god's and man's).

  this position makes knowledge impossible (especially knowledge of god) and allows the society to contradict itself with impunity.. read my letter to the society:.

  This description of "vertical thinking" sounds like the thinking of WBTS followers.

  "purely vertical thinking leads to compliance, conformity, and a false sense of knowledge.

  (false because its often just memorization in disguise.

  How about electricity, plumbing, water systems, modern building and engineering, printing presses, shipping utilization, modern infrastructure, technology, modes of transportation, small and large appliances, government, modern tools and....? The list goes on.

  If they want to keep using the “we're no part of the world” bullshight then they better start getting cozy with the Amish or else shut the hell up!

  in where it matters, we have not been associating with the b**** congregation for over 6 years.

  moreover, we have not identified ourselves as jehovahs witness for about 5 years.

  as such, we are informing the congregations that we have already disassociated from the jehovahs witness.. in this regards, we do not wish to be called on when the door to door service is performed either for monthly magazine campaigns, circuit/district assembly notices and memorial night flyers.

  i recently asked my jw elder brother (who thinks i'm just "inactive") what he makes of the reduction in pages of the wt & awake rags.... his response was something like:.

  well this was something that has been discussed for a long time.

  the society feels that the brothers need to start using the bible more in field service so they are slowly reducing the pages of the literature to encourage the brothers to read the bible more and not depend so much on the literature.

  It’s all about control and power; the elderberries will usually leave alone anyone they believe can damage them. No matter your standing, they will never bite off more than they can chew by picking a fight they don’t think they can win and will naturally shy away from one’s they think have dirt on them who can threaten their position/standing in the congregation or world.

  Kind of like a Pandora’s box, they know if they leave certain “friends” alone that box remains closed, but mess with just one and all hell will break loose.

  I think this is why I’ve been left alone. I know far too much and may seem quiet but when you try to attack me I become a porcupine; come any closer and you're gonna get hurt. Pretty much I live by the rule of don't start nothin' there won't be nothin', so the only time the elderberries have ever tried to "shepherd" or single me out they were left licking their wounds.

  They just keep doling out the same rubbish over and over again.

  At least the original garbage had texture but now it's been rehashed so many times it's kinda like processed cheese, it has absolutely no nutritional value and may seem like a good idea at the time but will probably give you ass burning diarrhea.

  The Idiocies of 1975 Still Have Hold Over a 28 Year Old

  if any of us forgot just how thick the average jehovah's witness can be, here's a little story.. my friend, a 28 year old jw, got into an accident about a year ago.

  she hit a horse and killed it, wrecking her car.

  she told everyone she knew that it was pitch black and she couldn't see the horse until the last second.
